📽️: Stars In The House In Person! (and Virtually!)
On June 30, Beth will be among a host of fully vaccinated Broadway stars joining hosts Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley for a very special IN-PERSON episode of Stars In The House!
Beth will be one of the many (fully vaccinated!) Stars in the House for the daily livestreamed Broadway series' first in-person event! Streaming on 30 June from 8PM EST at Asylum NYC, this live extravaganza celebrates a milestone achievement for the show - raising $1 million for The Actors Fund.
“Thanks to the enormous generosity of our viewers from all over the globe, we couldn't be more excited to celebrate reaching the $1 million mark raised for The Actors Fund on June 30 with our very first in-person show,” say co-hosts Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley.
“And what better way to celebrate this moment than with a ton of live music from our Broadway friends, surrounded by the volunteers and staff of Stars in the House, who made it all happen these past 15 months.”
Other Broadway veterans expected to appear during the episode include Chita Rivera, Kristin Chenoweth, Andrea Martin, Liz Callaway, Marc Shaiman and more. Dr. Jon LaPook, the show’s medical correspondent, will also appear.
The episode will be livestreamed from 8PM ET on the Stars in the House YouTube channel and StarsintheHouse.com, and viewers will be able to ask questions live and continue to donate. A longtime friend of the series will match all donations on June 30 up to $15,000.
Stars In The House first began streaming online from 16 March 2020 to benefit The Actors Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has also raised funds for the NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Rudetsky and Wesley have received a special Drama Desk Award for their coronavirus relief efforts.
